Investing In Our Education
The purpose of the Foundation is to strive and identify new strategies to improve each child's life. We believe that education is a key pillar in fulfilling that mission. Part of our initiative is to provide scholarships to students who attend either Jersey City, Baltimore or Washington D.C Public Schools and demonstrate a growth mindset.
Nyamwange Foundation Scholarship awards 6 students (4 incoming Freshmen and 2 incoming Sophomore/Juniors) with $1,000 that will be used towards any college related costs. Awards are based on the applicant’s academic performance, leadership qualities, and strength of application. Recipients of the Nyamwange Scholarship Award will be automatically enrolled in our Leadership Development Program. We will celebrate our recipients during our Scholarship Dinner.
