Birthright Afrika, sponsored by the Nyamwange Foundation, inspires and motivates youth and young adults of African descent to explore their cultural roots and legacy of innovation within the United States and Africa. Through travel to Kenya and immersion into East African culture, we aim to instill pride, enhance confidence, and spark the creativity of our Scholars to fulfill their leadership and entrepreneurial aspirations.

 

​Through a 12-day transformational trip to Kenya, African American youth and young adults learn about the rich history of Africa, the contributions made to the world stage, and the prospect of a very bright and vibrant future.
